Half Way Review (14A)

1)   The requirements of this course are very minimal but what I do to keep up is actually designate a time and day to every one of my assignments in the beginning of the week so I can be mentally prepared for everything
2)   I feel like giving up all the time, like every day. I always pull through by thinking about the end goal and how this is helping me towards my future. I feel like I’ve developed an attitude but not a tenacious one. The experience of taking 18 credits has made me come to this.
3)   3 tips I would give:
a.    Don’t wait until Friday morning to rush for your assignments.
b.    Choose something you enjoy doing and stick with it for this course.

c.    To develop a tenacious mindset you will need to be diligent and take all of your time into consideration and make sure you’re happy most importantly.

  1. Great post Brynn! I think you did a great job of reviewing what this first semester has been like. I agree that while the requirements for this course are minimal it is important to set a time and day to get the assignments done. I also think it is important to not rush the assignments and to approach the course with a tenacious attitude.

  2. Hi Brynn,
I definitely agree with your advice on designating a time and day to complete the assignments for this course. At the beginning, I found myself waiting until Friday morning to complete my assignments because I knew they would be easier. However, this resulted in not putting out my best work and not getting the most from this course that I could. I also agree with your second paragraph about thinking about the end goal and using that incentive to help you complete your goal. I have yet to take 18 credits in a semester, but I think its awesome that you were able to do it and push through!

  3. Hi Brynn,
I am impressed by you taking 18 credits this semester! That surely is an exhausting amount, and I think I'd have a hard time developing a tenacious attitude for one specific class as well. Meanwhile, here I am following your advice of not waiting until morning to rush your assignments. I also mentioned picking a topic you enjoy as a tip, because if I had not I can't even imagine how boring that'd be!

The moments that stick out to me the most are the posts that I had to video myself to unveil my product. It was nerve racking but put it in...
