11A

1) You. I am Brynn Price, a second year Sociology major. I’m skilled in mostly innovative thought, as I minor in innovation and have some experience in figuring out hard to solve problems. I worked as a CNA and with that job you often have to be creative and find solutions that are not only tangible but also ethical. My business concept is to flee out into the market as a product mostly sold in larger business’ like Walmart and Target.
2) What are you offering to customers? I am creating an easier solution to No-Show socks that will decrease aggravation and struggle in wearing them every day.
3) Who are you offering it to? I am providing this to everyone who has worn these socks and gave up, everyone that currently wears them with the struggle, and everyone that wants to try them struggle free. Think especially of this question: what do your customers all have in common?
4) Why do they care? They care because most people are about themselves and want to fix their own problems and with this they will be able to.
5) What are your core competencies? Nobody has tried to fix this issue yet. I see nobody actively searching for solutions in this department.
I think that these fit together because now in the world, everyone is about improving the quality of life for themselves and if they have this in their sock life then they might try the product. This is a good business plan although I don’t know any steps to actually take in order to get it done as an up and running business.

  1. Brynn,
As I've commented before, this is a great idea. However, I disagree with your assessment of part 5. I believe the many companies which produce no-show socks all have the intention of producing a product which stays on at all times, but they keep failing. When you start your company, your core competency could be that you actually have a solution.

30A Congrats everyone!

The moments that stick out to me the most are the posts that I had to video myself to unveil my product. It was nerve racking but put it in...
