1. The theme of the book was that if you work hard you can accomplish anything. Although, the story was focused on Mr. Elon Musk it had a theme that was a self-,love type book if you took into consideration the tips that they were giving you.
2. It connected because it showed how thinking outside of the box can get something resolved and the hard work that we put into what we work on is worth it and never be afraid to fail.
3. It would have to deal with something in your childhood. A huge chunk of the book was about how Elon Musk helped his future pre adulthood. You could see how our childhood played into the future we want now.
4. I definitely was surprised to know how young he was whenever he started his journey. I didn’t expect someone to ever be able to have the resources to be that successful at such a young age. My “aha” was that I cannot do the same thing since it is too late in my life.
Great post Brynn! I thought you picked an interesting book for this reflection because Elon Musk is certainly a very fascinating entrepreneur. I think the notion that if you work hard you can accomplish anything, is one that resonates with every young up and coming entrepreneur out there. I was also surprised about how young Elon musk was when he started his entrepreneurship journey.
ReplyDeleteHi Brynn
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you chose this book to read as I wanted to read it but did not have the chance. I think Elon Musk is one of the most popular entrepreneurs today and his habits are productivity are often praised in the business world. The book seemed to have lots of good advice for young entrepreneurs about self confidence and self love.
Hi Brynn,
ReplyDeleteI'm also really interested in Elon Musk and love reading about how he got to the place he is at today. I think the fact that Musk tells others to never give up and not be afraid to fail is so awesome! He does a great job of exuding those qualities and I think that is why so many people look up to him. I also agree with your "aha" because I too cannot accomplish those types of things this late in my life.
